dAVID's Story

Innovator, Business Man, Entrepreneur,  Terrible Father, almost bankrupted once, and mediocre husband. What I am is honest!

I love my kids and am happily married to my high school sweet heart. My life’s mission involves raising 3 of the best kids in the world, along with leaving an impact on others.

During my teen years I found an interesting way to establish myself as a young business man in the community, From growing 5 acres of sweet corn and having classmates sell it to there neighborhoods, to teaching amish carpenters how to find work in a white mans world. I had the connections and the Amish had the skills.

After college, my father a success business man asked me to join Hall Aluminum Products as a Project Manager for his company he purchased some 20+ years ago. Over the course of 4 years I was molded into a Glazing Guru and ventured off to Denver, CO from which where I started HAP, Denver satellite office. This office i started with a spare computer during the evenings after my day job.

With Denver, CO  office running full throttle (4 year later), I was able to head back to our home office in Fort Wayne, IN and help with operations there. During this time i realized just how stubborn people are to change regardless if this change would impact there live in a positive way. When you get a company out of the union, change their accounting system, change estimating software, change project management software,  set up a 3rd party Amish fabrication shop down the road (to piss off the union); your going to get some angry people!

When it was all said and done, the owner my (Dad) accepted this change and his company is still today operating at maximum capacity. This change isn’t why HAP is where they are today. It is simply because one man, my dad never gave up.

During our talks with the union I decided to reach out to Matt Day with Glaziers On Demand for secondary precautions in case the union striked my job-sites and i need to call in labor. During this meeting we both realized we wanted to do business together but didn’t know how.

1 year later i was moving to Georgia with my family in our camper to start the adventure of a lifetime. To do this I sold my farm, guns, ATV’s, boats, and put everything else that couldn’t fit into storage.  My very next decision was the hardest of them all, moving my kids 900 miles away from their family and friends to live in a RV park. Yeah, there is no fun way to tell this story.

2 years later we walked away with a multiple successful business. Now I am going to show everyone how you can do it too.

Today my business partner Matt and I  lead one of the Strongest/ Most Reliable/ and Dedicated groups of recruits, labor subcontractor, superintendents, foreman, agents, and workforces in America.

“Trusted on jobs like the Walmart HQ office and Telsa Gigafactory.”
